The Pool...

So a few weeks ago Winston, our very energetic Newfoundland puppy, got his very first kiddy pool. For those of you that do not know Newfoundlands are historically water dogs and Win is no exception. If there is water around that is more than a few inches deep he is in it. After we made the decision to buy a pool we then had to decide on the type. We looked at Home Depot and decided that while a heavy duty pond insert was a good choice for the dog that can destroy everything, it was not worth the $120. Because he would, in fact, most likely destroy it. Soooo.... thanks to my aunt for the lovely tip ($8.99 kiddy pools at Shopko) Win is the proud owner of his very own pool. He loves it!!Winston checking out his pool.....

In other news we have also found that he seems to have a great fondness for Starbucks

I, Sarah, am finished with my job as GBHQ. Thank you to everyone that helped throughout the last few years. And.... a big thank you to Cody. We made it!!!

A Fabulous Sunday

A few Sundays ago we went to the park for breakfast with my aunt, uncle and little cousin Carter. The boys(all three of them) had a blast playing on the playground and then found their way down to the river. All the boys ended up in the river at on point or the other and Carter even went in with his shoes on. After breakfast Cody and I took a nice long motorcycle ride. It was the perfect way to spend a nice summery day.

I know we have not posted for a bit but we promise it is going to get better. Soon. This summer promises to be full of fun and laughter and I hope to be posting a about all of it really soon!!
