Decorating-Bad dog style

So last night Cody and I came home to find this....

and this....

It seems that BoBo did not think that the bathroom remodel was going quick enough. Please.... allow me to explain. This is black latex paint that Cody was using for a project, it was on the window sill 5 or so feet off the ground. Beau our cute LITTLE puppy jumped and knocked the paint off the sill. The bathroom was actually easy enough to clean up. it only took:
  • 1 roll of paper towels
  • 2 bathmats
  • 1 robe
  • 2 scrub brushes
  • 2 gallons of very hot water
Beau looked like this...
and this...Getting BoBo clean was a bit more of a challenge. That project took....
  • 3 baths
  • 1 comb-now bent
  • 3 different brushes
  • 1 towel
  • 1 hour in the bath
  • 1 hot shower for Cody(after Beau gave him a bath)
I am happy to report that both dog and bathroom are almost paint free and Beau spent the rest of his night sleeping. It is hard work being a puppy!!

*PS- Not dogs were harmed in the writing of this post

Seattle

In October Cody and I had the sad but fun task of helping my best friend Megan Betty move to Seattle, WA to start her new life. So I thought I would post a few pictures of our little adventure.
We left Salt Lake at 5pm on a Thursday evening and drove to Boise. It was a long drive but it was nice to get the chance to rest. On Friday we finished the drive to Seattle. Friday night we hung out with Megan's wonderful family. Here are a few picture....

Little Miss Seattle. She is going to hate this picture...

Saturday in Seattle...Pikes Market. The site of a wonderful lunch with an old friend and lot of shopping.

The Seattle Underground. Red Light...

Crab Pot dinner before....

....and after!

Seattle day two: Air Force One at the Museum of Flight.

Duck Ride...

Seattle is a beautiful city and a a possible future home!! It was a wonderful trip and we can not wait to go and visit again!!

Are we old?

Not to long ago I was accused of being old and it made me think. Am I really old? I started looking back at some pictures and decided that maybe.. just maybe... I am.

This picture was taken on a typical Sarah and Cody Saturday night... Pizza, glass of wine, ice cream and in bed by 11:00 pm. The last item on this list goes to prove that I am.... In fact OLD!!

Now to explain what is going on in this picture. Cody and Ben(my uncle) decided that Carter(my baby cousin, who is no longer a baby) should be wrapped like a burrito. Soooo they took all of the blankets that they could find and wrapped him up in a Carter Burrito.

The finished product. The cutest burrito I have ever seen!!!

back up.....

So lets back up a few...months or so.... Here are a few pictures from Governors Day.

A beautiful September day, and wonderful way to honor all of the service men and women serving our country.
